thankyou for the help your thorough, well-organized page has provided; incredible resource. one suggestion: with some of the more common scales (melodic minor), list not only notes but chord structural as well. eg. in C maj the chords are: c dm em f g am baug. I would love to know the chord structure for the minor scales. Thanks!

This site...really great.
I can't afford lessons and nobody here can help me.
My parents gave me piano lessons when I was little. It dind't fitt me then. Even if I do love piano now and just have to play sometimes.
But the music I hear and feel in my body is played by guitar, most electric guitar. Now I tired to get crazy to hear this all the time so I want it out.
So now I started to play accustic guitar till I have an electric guitar.
To find this site so suddenly was great just what I need.
I don't know why I'm telling this but nobody here understands. I'm twenty now and mabye I never can play like I hear inside but at list I must be a little bit better then I'm twentyfive. Sorry for my bad english.
So for you who love music, I truelly hope you can play the music from your heart.

I have been playing guitar for about 32 years now. I play by ear! Half the chords that I play don't have a name to them. Thank you very much for putting a name to them, I do appreciate it very much. All that reads this message! Have fun with these chords, It is the best site that you will ever find. If you are having problems with the chords just continue to do them, it will come just be patient.
